What made this tour really enjoyable for me is the rich story it weaves by combining historical references, architectural details, cultural norms of the period with a touch of societal gossip. It guides your attention to the details – one could easily miss – by providing the best vantage points to view the landmarks. The tour is GPS enabled so the narration comes on organically as you approach each individual spot. Iren has a very soothing, warm voice. Her calm story telling, somehow, gives this tour an unexpectedly chamber feel, even when strolling thru the bustling FlatIron district. Its a very fun way of sightseeing and I would highly recommended it to anyone who has a free hour to spend.

I have been visiting NY city for years, yet somehow never made my way to Harlem. Recently, I saw a Harlem tour offered on Voice map, so I decided to give a go. I am so glad I did. I was very impressed with how the tour is put together. Its very informative and interesting, especially for someone like me who knew very little about the place. By the of it the picture of a neighborhood filled with history, unique culture and beautiful landmarks came to life. I would highly recommend this tour.
