Slowly Shirley is not too hidden, as it actually has a door sign. When you locate the address you’ll see a bar called “The Happiest Hour”. Look to the right, find a door with the “Slowly Shirley” sign, and knock. Wait for a hostess to greet you and lead you down the stairs.

This sub-subterranean speakeasy features inventive expensive cocktails, art-deco decor, intimate dark atmosphere and 1940s Hollywood’s Golden Age sensibility.
